My husband and I sat down the other day to redo our household budget. We got as far as the grocery line, and both went a bit silent. If you’ve stood at a checkout lately wondering how one bag of groceries costs that much, you know the feeling.

I feel it at home, and I know you’re feeling it too. I also know what happens to skin appointments when money gets tight.

They’re the first thing to slide. Six weeks becomes ten, ten becomes “I’ll book after Christmas”, and the progress we built together starts to slip.

Skin responds to consistency. So I’ve been looking for ways to make consistent skin treatments in Diamond Creek easier on your bank account, and my new booking system has handed me one.

Meet The Skin Fixer Wallet, making skin treatments in Diamond Creek easier to enjoy

It’s your own digital wallet with me. You choose an amount, from as little as $20, and how often you’d like to add it: weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

That amount comes out of your account by direct debit and sits in your wallet, ready to spend on treatments and products at The Skin Fixer.

Think of it as a piggy bank for your skin. By the time your appointment comes around, the money is already there.

One bigger payment on the day can sting, especially when it lands in the same week as the rego. Spread out, it’s a different story. $40 a week adds up to $240 over six weeks, which covers most treatments with me.

If $20 suits your budget better, start there. Whatever is in your wallet comes off your bill.

How to set it up

The wallet opens on 1 November.

From then, you can sign up online, or we can do it together at your next visit. Pick your amount, pick how often, and the system takes care of the rest.

You’re in charge of it. Change your amount or stop it whenever you need to. Your balance doesn’t expire, so it’s there when you’re ready.

One thing to know up front: wallet money can’t be refunded as cash, so only put in what you know you’ll spend with me.

Why the rhythm matters

One treatment can do a lot, but the change that lasts comes from rhythm, where each appointment builds on the one before it, and we’re not starting from scratch every time.

What you do at home counts just as much. I see you once every four to six weeks. Your skin spends the other 30+ days with whatever is on your bathroom shelf, which is why I prescribe your homecare and don’t leave you to guess. It’s also why your wallet works for products as well as treatments.

When your cleanser runs out halfway between visits, you can replace it without a second thought.

Your skin deserves a plan. Now paying for it has one too.
